Your Health Exercise Physiology is a small, local practice based in The Gap, Brisbane, run by Michael Bellett (Accredited Exercise Physiologist). I provide evidence-based exercise support to help you move better, feel stronger, and improve your health and confidence – whether you’re building general fitness or managing an ongoing medical condition.
You can work with me through one-on-one or small group exercise sessions, depending on your goals and what feels most supportive. Every program is tailored to you. We’ll start with a clear understanding of your health history, goals, and day-to-day challenges, then build a practical plan you can stick with – progressed safely over time and adjusted as your needs change.
If you’re navigating longer-term health needs (or funding pathways such as NDIS, DVA, or a GP management plan), I can help you understand your options and keep the process straightforward.
If you’re ready to take the next step, get in touch and we’ll plan a path that suits your body, your goals, and your life.
As a sole practitioner, I offer exercise physiology services designed to support a wide variety of health needs. Whether your focus is general fitness, injury recovery, or managing a chronic medical condition, each program is tailored to your goals, medical history, and current capacity. You’ll work directly with me, which means you receive the time, attention, and continuity of care needed to focus on your progress, fine-tune your program, and feel supported at every step.
Looking to feel fitter, move more comfortably, or build healthier routines? I provide individualised, evidence-based exercise support to improve everyday strength, mobility, energy, and confidence. Your program is designed around your goals, current fitness level, and lifestyle—so it’s practical, sustainable, and progressed safely over time.
I design safe, structured exercise programs to support long-term health conditions—tailored to your symptoms, medical considerations, and goals. Common conditions include type 2 diabetes/pre-diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease, COPD/asthma, arthritis and osteoporosis, persistent pain, neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, Parkinson’s, MS), cancer rehabilitation (where appropriate), and balance or falls risk. Where helpful, I can liaise with your GP and treating team, and support eligible pathways such as Medicare (GP management plan), DVA, and NDIS.
Stay motivated and build consistency with small group exercise sessions in a welcoming, supportive environment. Sessions are structured and goal-focused, with clear coaching and progressions to help you improve fitness, strength, and confidence safely—while still enjoying the energy of training alongside others.
For a more personalised approach, one-on-one exercise physiology provides dedicated guidance tailored to your needs. Together we’ll develop a practical plan, refine technique, and adjust your training as you progress – helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Support your independence and quality of life with training that prioritises strength, balance, mobility, and functional fitness. Programs are designed to help with everyday activities – such as getting up from a chair, climbing stairs, walking with ease, and reducing falls risk – using steady, achievable progressions that suit your body and your lifestyle.
